Whitetail Golf Course, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Stevensville, Montana.

Whitetail golf course first opened for play in 1938.

The course is completely surrounded by the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge. This gem of a golf course is located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley. The towering Bitterroot Mountains provide the backdrop of the Whitetail Golf Course.

Whitetail Golf Course has greens that are small and difficult to read. The tree-lined fairways are basically flat and narrow. Wildlife live on and around the course. The signature hole is #8, a 427-yard, par 4. Whitetail only accepts tee times for the weekends and holidays.

Whitetail Golf Course facility plays to a 9-hole maximum distance of 2,859 yards. Par for the course is 35. There are additional sets of tees that can be used if double looping for an eighteen hole round.
